More choices can benefit homeowners and encourage renovation companies to improve their prices and services. However, choosing a renovation firm based only on the initial quotation can be risky. Before comparing prices, first confirm that both companies offer the same materials, scope of work, and level of service. Why Can One Quotation Be So Much Cheaper?
Renovation quotations are rarely prepared in the same way. One company may include hacking, haulage, floor protection, electrical works, plumbing connections, permit applications, installation, touch-ups and cleaning.

The company’s registered name should appear clearly on the quotation, contract and receipts.
